ENIGMA – ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB

Creativity is the spark that drives the development of new products or services or to do business. It is the push for innovation and improvement. This gives rise to the term “ENTREPRENEURSHIP”. It is a continuous learning, questioning and thinking outside of prescribed formulas.

IBS Kolkata organises ENIGMA, the entrepreneurship club, to find resources for all aspects of starting and growing business. It organises different competitions to boost the hidden talents among nascent entrepreneurs, or who may not be aware of their inside talent. In other words, it is a robust platform to inspire youngsters and pave their start towards starting a new company, vital to the future of our economic welfare.

ENIGMA has organised many competitions till date that has helped us live our dreams at each stage of life. One of the competitions being BUSINESS IDEA CAP competition, where students in our management college have participated and brought forward new business ideas. Some ideas deal with robotics, solar cell, cloud computing and many others.

In today’s generation, everything is getting technology equipped for the ease of handling and making the life go easier. One of the examples can be taken as ROBOTICS. Robotic abilities are growing extremely vast and at a faster pace. Many business are opting robotics to curtail costs, which are cheaper than normal human counterparts. Recently, ICICI bank has announced the deployment of Software Robotics for business process across various functions of the bank to raise productivity and increase efficiency.

SOLAR CELLS help us in conservation of electricity. One can use LED lights at home, emits no heat and is long lasting. It can be used in LED street lights, which absorb the solar power in the daylight and converts that in the form of electricity at night. It can be used at roof tops of homes, absorbs light, keep house warm in winter and many other purposes.

CLOUD COMPUTING means storing and accessing data and programs over the internet instead of computer’s hard disk. The idea was to retain the Indian folk culture via cloud computing which is losing its existence in our society day by day. In many rural areas, many talents are there who cannot reach the limelight to express their talent in front of the public. Cloud computing can be the medium to give the limelight to their talent, connecting them through hubs in different nearby areas to the platform showcasing these talents to public and make those talented people to the entire country.

We all being the member of this club are highly delighted. It becomes a network facilitating many programs or competitions boosting and supporting new buds. It paves way to explore creativity and innovation.
